Friday 6 February 2015

Condensed week as catch up.

Monday 26th January

100 Lengths of the pool! Rah rah rah.
Uni morning; XXX &Y this afternoon. Same old, same old…
Laura’s turn for the meal. Pork chops.
Laura’s pupil tonight: Trevor.
YT reading and sewing.
Miles walked with dog during day = 6 and a bit.

Tuesday Jan 27th

100 lengths again. Back to normality after a month away
Uni all day. Lunch Thali Special at the Indian Restaurant.
My turn for meal tonight. Stuffed peppers and rice.
My Pupil: Olivia. Exam panic strategies. Off the cuff exam question. She answered it really well.
Laura spent the time skyping her sisters ready for the Newcastle trip in about three weeks. Reading.
Miles walked with Callie = 8 today, we did a detour into the village.

Wednesday 28th Jan.

It is getting so much easier to do 100 lengths. May introduce a time factor next week.
Uni and XXX & Y split again.
Meal at Sandy’s house tonight. First Girl’s Dining Club of 2015. Venison casserole and then Black Forest Gateau. Yummy in my tummy. Cake so rich, a small slice almost too much!  All of the girls present and we drew out the order for the rest of the year Laura drew August, I got October. Dates to be finalised nearer the time, as per usual.
Miles spent walking Callie = 4. She had the field to run in as the second walk, which cut down the distance. Amount of miles needed to walk off the calories from Sandy’s meal, 500!

Thursday 29th January

Usual number of lengths again.
Half and half day / Uni & XXX n Y. Nothing of note occurred at either location.
Evening meal was a joint enterprise, pan fried fish and veggies. Loll did the fish, I did the veggies.
My Pupil Jenny-Leigh and Laura’s pupil Sally, tonight. Laura won the toss for the study. J-L and I used the kitchen. I-L’s Mum brought her laptop and surfed our internet. (We had arranged this.)

Total distance walked on Callie’s walks = 8. I think Callie must have done about twice that amount. We found a dead Muntjac deer by the seat with the grit bin. Moved it into the undergrowth. It was quite heavy. There were no visible injuries. I will ask Steve about the legality of having it butchered.
